Looking for home decor ideas? Well, lucky for you, October’s new interior design launches will provide plenty. Maximalists will fall for Cabana’s new collaboration with storied fabric house Schumacher, for which founder Martina Mondadori Sartogo lends her bold aesthetic to everything from wallpapers to table linens. Meanwhile, those on the more minimalist end will fawn over Arjé Home, a new furniture and found object line by husband-and-wife duo Bessie and Oliver Corral. And sometimes, it’s the little things: Publishing house Assouline’s new suede notebooks are the perfect gift for the journaler in your life.

Zara Home Fall/Winter 2021 Collection

Zara tapped Chloë Sevigny to star in a short film shot at José Marques da Silva’s famed art deco home, Casa de Serralves, all in the name of announcing their fall 2021 home collection, which embraces soft textiles and an earth tone color palette. We’re particular fans of their ceramics.

Arjé Home

Husband-and-wife duo Bessie and Oliver Corral—the couple behind the label Arjé, known for its shearling coats, have launched an expansive new home collection that includes hand-crafted sofas, coffee tables supported by walnut silhouettes, and, for their plushy pièce de resistance: a (you guessed it) shearling chair with a matching ottoman. In addition to the pieces they personally designed, the couple also curated a collection of found objects and textiles, from Cultiver bedding to ceramic candelabras by upstate New York ceramicist Jin Lee.

Everything fits a certain Arjé aesthetic: a warm, muted minimalism that focuses on captivating geometric shapes rather than colorful prints.

Kelly Wearstler x Rotganzen

“This is definitely a party starter and a work of art,” Kelly Wearstler says of her disco ball collaboration with Rotganzen, which features five melted, almost melancholic mirrored pieces inspired by the city of Los Angeles. It’s a true collector’s item: the Dutch collective’s Quelle Fête series has caught the eye of design aficionados since its launch in 2011 (hence the price tag).

Assouline Notebooks

Effortlessly chic publishing company Assouline wants to move beyond your coffee table with its new line of suede notebooks. Coming in yellow, red, navy, brown, purple, and leopard print, each one is stamped with a suggestive catch phrase like “scandals, “temptations,” or “wild thoughts.” Gift it to your writer friend, or perhaps the one who enjoys being a bit edgy in the office.

The Feast: A Dinner Party Collection by DM/BX

Last month, Design Miami, the world’s preeminent collectible furniture fair, launched their own e-commerce site DM/BX with a number of high profile designers like Harry Nuriev’s Crosby Studios and Katie Stout. Now, they’ve asked acclaimed interior designer Kristen McGinnis to curate a selection of dinnerware, just in time for the holidays.

“The Feast: A Dinner Party Collection” includes gilded pearl napkin bracelets by Yolande Milan Batteau, bronze candlesticks by Farrell Hundley, dinnerware by Jeremy Anderson (his first foray into the medium), as well as tablecloths, napkins, and glassware. Perfect for those who want to embrace the avant-garde Thanksgiving table.

Cabana x Schumacher Collection

Cabana, the cult design magazine coveted by interior enthusiasts, is collaborating with storied fabric house Schumacher for a new fabrics and coverings collection.
